    • Wicked Local People is an exclusive, private online service that organizes and connects families to people, activities and organizations in their local community . From sports schedules to carpools, Wicked Local People is designed to help track and manage the lives of busy families. A centralized family calendar, address book and family blog make it easy to keep tabs on all elements of day-to-day family activity. Wicked Local People makes it easy for members to integrate events and contacts from their existing tools like Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail, AOL and Yahoo.
  • 2) Who is Wicked Local People for? Can anyone use Wicked Local People?
    • Wicked Local People is for anyone who wants to save time and stay in the loop with their friends and community. Wicked Local People is for individuals, parents and families, group leader, coaches, teachers and parent volunteers.
  • 3) Who can see my information? Who can see my family’s information?
    • Wicked Local People is dedicated to providing a safe, secure environment online. We protect your privacy in several ways.

      * Unlike open Internet sites, Wicked Local People is members only and password protected.
      * Each town is its own network. People from other towns cannot see members from other towns unless they know each other and are directly connected through an email invite.
      * When you register, people in your town can find that you have joined but only see your name and photo (limited Profile). In order for people to see your full profile and contact information you must connect with them.
  • 4) How much does Wicked Local People cost? Is it free?
    • Yes, Wicked Local People is free to all members, groups, schools, teams and other organizations. We built Wicked Local People to help organize and connect your community. Enjoy and please help us spread the word by inviting others in your community or groups.
      Wicked Local People revenue comes from advertisements on the site. Wicked Local People does not sell or rent your email address or personal information to third parties.
  • 5) What is the difference between public, private and secret groups?
    • Wicked Local People members can currently see groups, teams and school groups in their town or groups where they were directly invited into by a member. Non-members cannot see any groups.

      * Public Groups: Anyone can join. Great for generating interest and getting new members. Not to be used for children’s groups.
      * Private Groups: Members must be invited or request an invite and be accepted to the group. School groups are never public and set to private by default. Preferred setting for youth sports teams.
      * Secret Groups: Invite only and do not appear in search results or member profile pages. Good for family/relatives groups or the local gossip and rumor mill.
  • 6) Who should I connect to? Why should I connect to people?
    • In Wicked Local People, your network are Connections. These include people you know or know of. For security purposes we limit viewing to just people in your town, schools, teams or groups but you can invite anyone to your network by email and be connected regardless of what town they live in.
      Do Invite and Connect with: Friends, Relatives, Neighbors, Classmates, Teammates, Teachers, Coaches, Town Leaders, Newcomers, Volunteer organizations and associations. Anyone with whom you want to share contact information, photos, blog/journals, documents, events or connections.

      Please don’t Invite or Connect with: Anyone you don’t know or people you don’t like or trust. Please help keep Wicked Local People safe and fun.
  • 7) Can we connect to people outside of my town? Can people join my group or team who don’t live in my town?
    • Yes, members may connect with people who live outside of their town just be sending them an invite to connect. Group, team and class administrators can invite people to their Wicked Local People groups by invite as well. Members living outside of town will not see the group in search results and cannot request invites. In both cases, we assume if you know someone’s email already you know or know of that person which maintains a high level of trust within the Wicked Local People network.
