TownConnect’s neighbor company in Waltham, Pixily,  was named a finalist for the Amazon Startup Challenge today and featured on Tech Crunch. Congratulations, guys!

For people looking to get organized, Pixily is a very convenient service.   They scan all your paper documents into a private online account and make it easy to search and categorize.  Google indexes books for search, Pixily indexes the paper in your file cabinet.

My first time:  I sent Pixily a pile of papers I had sitting in my “organize” box.  The next week I needed to provide an insurance policy number for some paperwork but the box was back at home.   Using Pixily, I just had to login, search “policy number” and had received the information I needed in a few seconds time.

Pixily will be a great tool for families to access documents remotely.
